Rooted & Wild Studio is a collaborative storefront located in Ronan, Montana, featuring a thoughtfully curated selection of handmade and small-batch goods created by makers in the Mission Valley and surrounding areas. Our goal is to create a shop that feels intentional, welcoming, and full of pieces with real stories behind them.

How We Select Makers

Rooted & Wild Studio is a curated collective, meaning not every application will be accepted—even if minimum requirements are met. Our goal is to create a balanced mix of makers and product types that complement one another and align with the overall feel of the shop.

Minimum Requirements

• Makers must be based in the Mission Valley or surrounding Montana communities

• Products must be handmade or small-batch produced

• Items must align with our clean, intentional, handmade brand standards

Meeting these requirements does not guarantee placement, but they are the foundation for consideration.

What We Look For

Beyond the basics, we look for makers whose work fits the Rooted & Wild aesthetic and community-focused mission. Some qualities we love include:

• Products that feel cohesive with the shop’s overall look and vibe

• Unique designs that stand out while still feeling timeless

• Price points that typically fall within the $20–$200 range

• Thoughtful branding and product presentation

• An active social media presence and/or online selling platform

• Makers who value community and supporting other small businesses

To keep our shop well-balanced, we limit the number of similar product types at one time (for example: jewelry, ceramics, prints, etc.).

A Few Things to Know

• Rooted & Wild Studio operates on a consignment-based model

• Inventory rotates as space allows

• Agreements are month-to-month

• Acceptance is based on fit, space availability, and current inventory mix
